Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper’s radio campaign for the The Independent has won December 1998’s Aerial Award which means the commercial goes into the nominations stage of the finals to be held at BAFTA in October.
The ad, which featured the voiceover of John Cooper Clarke, follows the theme of the cinema campaign launched in October last year (see The Independent Launches Brand Campaign). Judging December’s entries were Alun Howell and Marcus Vinton of Ogilvy & Mather.
