Independent To Launch Review
The Independent Newspaper is due to relaunch its Saturday review on June 6. It will be relaunched on enhanced newsprint, and will have a less-packed look and feel. The ed:ad ratio will remain 60:40.
It is expected that the changes will be expensive, but necessary if the Independent is to successfully re-build its circulation. Ad Director Jeremy Reed would not comment on whether changes to the paper would be coupled with a price rise. Further details should be available later.
