Inflation On Target Again

Inflation has hit the Government’s target rate for the fourth month in succession, according to official figures. The Office for National Statistics put underlying inflation for November unchanged at 2.5%.

The headline rate of inflation, which includes mortgage interest payments, continued to fall, dropping from 3.1% year-on-year to 3.0%.
