Interactive Agencies In Digital Merger

Havas-owned Arnold Worldwide Partners has merged sister agencies Zinc and AMX Communications in order to strengthen its UK based interactive division.

The newly merged company, called Arnold Interactive UK, will bring together Zinc’s digital marketing capabilities with AMX’s tradition of creative work to provide a more extensive service to clients.

According to reports, the new agency will be headed by Bruce Winfield, the managing director of AMX Studios, while Georgia Hall, the joint managing director and co-founder of Zinc, is thought to have resigned.

Zinc was set up as a digital marketing agency in 1996 and its clients include Expedia.co.uk, Warner Cinema Villages and Computer Weekly, while AMX boasts Channel 4, Barclays and Toyota.
