Internet Revenue

The Observer reported that a survey, carried out by New Media Communications, has found that established publishers profit the most from going on-line. Conde Nast, Electronic Telegraph, The Financial Times, The Guardian and The Times/Sunday Times were found to be the 5 most profitable UK sites in 1996. These sites are said to have attracted 90% of UK on-line revenue last year. The annual revenue of these sites was between £100,000 and £500,000 each.
