New Scientist magazine launches its Planet Science site on the World Wide Web today. The site will be updated weekly alongside the magazine, and will contain a mix of articles lifted from the printed version and material exclusive to the web pages.
The site includes lead news stories, news briefs, editorial comment, and book reviews. There is also an appointments section which users can search by category, allowing easy listing of all appropriate vacancies.
Advertisements are being taken for two week runs, and all advertisers will be given demographic information from the registration form, and data on flow of traffic to each individual section.
