![]()
Hamish Pringle is proving quick to implement change at the IPA, only a month after taking up his position as director general. He has announced changes to the IPA secretariat affecting areas of membership and communication, as well as increasing the level of commitment to creatives.
“The IPA doesn’t do enough for the creative people in membership.” he claims. “The whole of the creative process needs to be lionized.”
The new regime will see Jo Maude of D&AD join the IPA next month to work on the Creative Directors Forum. In addition a new membership team is to be led by John Oldfield, formerly regional affairs director and the communications department has been expanded.
It has also been announced that Ted Goater is to leave his position as Treasurer.
