IPA Reports Increase In Corporate Membership
![]()
The Institute for Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) has reported a 5% increase in its corporate membership total for the first six months of 2002, despite the tough climate currently being experienced by the industry.
The IPA’s half year review, published last week, reported that 14 new members were elected during the first half of the year, from agency disciplines including mobile marketing, sales promotion, direct marketing, media, creative and full service. The total number of corporate members of the IPA is now 217.
While anyone who is employed by an IPA corporate member now has Associate Member status, the IPA has raised the bar on becoming a full personal member, so that nominees must now have five year’s senior agency experience and a minimum of three years’ CPD accreditation.
The full text of the review is available on the IPA website (see details below).
