IPA To Link With Universities
The IPA is to encourage top agencies to get involved in marketing and advertising education by launching a “twinning” scheme matching agencies and universities.
The programme will enable university tutors to get input to their courses from their “twinned” agency, in the form of guest speakers, IPA endorsed curricular material and in-agency placements for students. Agencies and universities will be matched by the IPA using a number of criteria, including location and compatibility.
John Bartle, President of the IPA said, “BMP DDB Needham, BBH, JWT and Saatchi & Saatchi have already committed to the initiative and we’d like all the top 20 agencies to become involved.”
