IPC appoints new key accounts director

Amanda Henderson

Amanda Henderson, a former Mindshare business director, has been appointed key accounts director at IPC Advertising’s central sales division.

Leading the key accounts team, Henderson will offer IPC’s leading clients one point of access across the entire IPC portfolio.

She has worked for agencies including MediaVest, SparkPHD and Starcom Motive in London and New Zealand.

Most recently, she was business director at Mindshare, looking after European and UK clients including Ford of Europe, Walt Disney Strategic Alliances, Tourism Ireland and Nestle.

Ali Deas, IPC Advertising central sales group advertisement director, said: “Key accounts is a hugely important team within IPC Advertising, providing major clients single-point access to the wealth of opportunities our brands and audiences offer.

“With her extensive agency experience dealing with blue chip clients Amanda is the perfect candidate to lead the team.”

Henderson added: “IPC Media has some of the most iconic and best-loved brands in pint and online, with huge and loyal audiences. This is an amazing opportunity for me to lead what is already a great team in providing access for our key clients to this amazing portfolio.”

Last month, IPC announced the creation of a central digital advertising operation called IPC Media Digital Sales.

The new department brings together all the digital advertising and ad ops functions from across the company, made up of 27 advertising personnel and a 12-strong ad ops team.
