IPC Claims Muzik Success
IPC is claiming that Muzik, its specialist dance title has taken the majority share in the record company advertising within the dance music magazine market after just five issues.
Muzik holds 41% of all advertising from this market, as well as a significant amount from the club sector. IPC claims it has brought in a considerable amount of new revenue for the IPC Music Group as a whole.
Muzik’s advertising manager Bruce Sandell said that Muzik had revenue of 154% and paging 105% above plan. “We have generated 128 pages of new business for the total IPC Music Group”. The title is also building revenue from consumer advertising sectors with bookings from K-Cider, Sony Playstation, COI Blood, Caterpillar Boots and Canadian Club.
