IPC Enhances Direct Marketing Team

IPC Magazines, which publishes magazine titles such as Loaded and Marie Claire, has made two significant promotions within its direct marketing unit in an attempt to focus and drive direct marketing activity across the company.

The dedicated direct marketing unit of the group looks after subscriptions, database marketing and mail order for the group’s titles. Helen Inman has been appointed mail order director, with responsibility for improving off-the-page mail order, which grew by 20% last year. She will develop new business through catalogues and direct mail promotion.

Amanda Chester has been given the position of head of subscription marketing, responsible for driving subscriptions sales across the portfolio of magazines, in particularly focusing on online sales.
