IPC Innovator Appoints National Advertising Manager
![]()
IPC Advertising has promoted Deborah Sinclair to the newly created position of national advertisement manager of its insert sales operation.
Sinclair will continue to work closely with IPC Innovator’s regional team and their agencies, but her remit has been significantly expanded to include the existing national client base, as well as developing new client relationships.
The move heralds the next stage in IPC Innovator’s strategic development and is intended to underline the division’s key focus on the core direct response sectors of finance, fashion and retail.
Sinclair, formerly regional ad manager, will move to London to lead the business drive. The IPC Innovator team based in Manchester will now be overseen by Katrina Hutchinson, who was recently appointed regional sales director for IPC Advertising.
Commenting on the appointment, IPC Innovator’s group advertisement director, Martin Corke, said: “The creation of this new role marks another major step forward for Innovator. As our name suggests, we have spent a great deal of time innovating within the insert market place and it’s important that we focus on clients nationally, in order to best bring these opportunities to life.”
He added: “Deborah will add great focus to the task of ensuring that we are promoting inserts as a leading media mechanic within the wider media marketplace. Our increasingly national focus reflects the fact that our business continues to expand via clients and agencies based right across the UK.”
Earlier this month IPC claimed to have achieved record advertising revenues for the current November issues of 25 Beautiful Homes and its spin-off title 25 Beautiful Kitchens (see IPC Claims Record Ad Revenues At Home Interest Titles).
