IPC Launches Internet Site

IPC Magazines has launched a corporate site on the Internet “to provide business-to-business information for the publishing industry on the company and its titles.”

IPCnet can be found at http://www.ipc.co.uk and includes:

  • Descriptions of the three publishing groups, namely IPC Weeklies Group, SouthBank Publishing Group and Specialist Group.
  • What’s New section with latest press releases issued by the company.
  • A look at the 14 market sectors in which IPC operates.
  • Information on the company’s 68 titles, including details on circulation and readership figures and splits, ad rates and categories and contact points.

The site also includes an on-line version of Advantage, the IPC newsletter for the advertising industry, and an introduction to its marketing and distribution company, MarketForce.

New media publisher, Colin Tough says: “IPCnet provides a unique information centre on the whole of IPC and all of its titles. We have incorporated links to all of the main industry bodies, our own parent company Reed Elsevier, as well as consumer sites belonging to some of our own magazines.”
