IPC Magazines is to form a 50-50 venture with Australian magazine group, Australian Consolidated Press (ACP), to publish magazines in Australia and New Zealand. The deal is subject to contract and is expected to be signed some time this week.
Announcing the new company, IPC’s international director Colin Reeves-Smith, said: ” We believe this is a major strategic move for IPC, because it brings us together with ACP, whom we consider to be the most successful magazine publisher in the Asia Pacific.
ACP publishes over 70 magazine in Australia and New Zealand, along with operations in Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan.
