IPC Promotes Ad Director
IPC has announced that it has promoted its former group and sales director, Georgina Crace, to director of advertisement sales across the entire IPC portfolio.
The role will involve creating a united IPC sales force, and will be effective from 28 September. Chief executive Mike Mathew commented on the appointment: “When Georgina joined us from Express Newspapers in 1995, she brought a new way of thinking to the SouthBank ad sales team and has been instrumental in implementing a number of groundbreaking initiatives. This is a well deserved promotion at a time when the new IPC is strengthening its position as the driving force within the media industry.”
During July, IPC announced that it is planning to launch a sales drive this autumn to promote some of its women’s and TV listings titles (see Newsline).
