IPC is set to sell six of its titles from its Specialist Group, according to trade press reports. The titles named include Angler’s Mail, Coarse Angling and Railway. Southern Newspapers is rumoured to be interested in buying the titles.
IPC would not comment on the reports while Southern admitted that it had a cash pile of around £100m which it had set aside for acquisitions, though it would neither confirm nor deny that it was looking at the Specialist Group.
