IPC has bought The Gardener from HHL Publishing. This comes nine months after IPC launched the monthly Your Garden. The Gardener has a circulation of around 40,000 (ABC Ju-Dc 92) and competes with Emap’s popular Practical Gardening. The deal has started fears of a price war as IPC fights for market share.
BBC Good Health from Redwood Publishing is to relaunch as a quarterly on Jan 6 and may increase frequency to monthly dependent on success.
