IPC Unveils New Home Interest Title

IPC is extending its portfolio of home interest titles with the launch of a new homes and interiors magazine called Creating Beautiful Homes.

The title, which will go on sale on 7 February with a cover price of £2.75, is being launched as a spin off from IPC’s 25 Beautiful Homes, which saw circulation rise by 4.4% to 122,714 in the latest ABC results.

The new magazine will sit alongside IPC’s portfolio of home-interest titles, which includes Ideal Homes, Homes & Gardens, Homes And Ideas, Country Homes & Interiors and Living.

IPC’s publishing director, Yvonne Ramsden, said: “The launch of Creating Beautiful Homes captures the spirit of an emerging group of consumers who are rejecting pure modern style and are re-embracing traditional values, both in their lifestyle and in their homes. Our research identified a demand in the market for a magazine that gives readers the practical information they need to renovate their homes in a comfortable classic style.”

The home interest sector saw circulation rise by 0.4% in the latest ABC results. Most titles in the sector saw year on year falls, but the market was lifted by the launch of Ikea’s Room magazine, which reported an initial circulation of 171,620.
