IPTV subscriptions are expected to grow to 70 million by 2014, according to research from SNL Kagan.

Over the past six years, IPTV adoption has increased at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 92.4%.

IPTV video service revenues are expected to grow from $12.9 billion in 2010 to $27 billion in 2014, equal to 11% of global pay-TV revenues.

By 2014, Western Europe is expected to lead IPTV subs, with 26.7 million households using IPTV services.

In the UK, BT is likely to lead growth due to its adoption of hybrid IPTV/DTT technology, according to SNL Kagan.
