IPTV subscribers to surpass 100m mark by 2016

In the next five years, the rise of broadband subscriptions will drive global IPTV subs to 106 million users, according to new research by RNCOS.

European markets are expected to provide the biggest market for IPTV services, with the UK, France and Germany leading the growth.

However, RNCOS predicts that Asia will, at some point, dominate the global IPTV sector due to high-speed infrastructure deployments, according to Rapid TV News.
