Unofficial overnight viewing figures for Saturday’s World Cup game between Ireland and Italy show the game achieved an average audience of 11.2m. The audience peaked at 13.3m towards the end of the match.
The match was screened by ITV at 8.50pm on Saturday. Ireland’s next match, against Mexico, will be screened at 17.15pm on Friday.
