Latest trend data released by Irish research companies JNLR/MRBI shows that:
Listenership to local radio stands at 50% compared to RTE Radio 1 at 44% and 2FM (Also RTE) at 27%
On a regional basis, listenership to local radio in the Connaught/Ulster region has increased by 3 percentage points to 51%
In Dublin, FM 104 has increased listenership in a number of key demographic areas while Classic Hits 98FM remains the top music-based station in the City
