ISBA Issues Sponsorship Guidelines

The Incorporated Society of British Advertisers has issued its Best Practice in Sponsorship Guidelines this week which aims to improve business relations between clients and agencies.

The recommendations include general information explaining sponsorship and gives advice on what the client should expect from a sponsorship contract. The book specifically concentrates on broadcast sponsorship as it is considered a new medium; giving clients advice on how to maximise sponsorship property and how to deal with ambush marketing.
