ISBA Urges Against Audit Confusion

ISBA has urged publishers not to create confusion by supporting the development of the BPA audit system in the UK. It expressed its extreme concern about the introduction of the BPA system which it sees as non-campatible with the UK’s ABC system.

The PPA has already said it believes the existence of 2 audit systems will create confusion among buyers of advertising space. PPA chief executive Ian Locks has written to the BPA suggesting the introduction of their lower grade audit system will not compare with the recently revamped ABC business press certificate.
