ITC And Scot FM Announce Appointments

Martin Hart has been appointed senior sponsorship and advertising officer with the Independent Television Commission, with effect from today.

He replaces Eve Salomon who has been promoted to deputy secretary at the Commission. Hart’s main duties now include developing sponsorship policy and providing ITC licensees with guidance on sponsorship proposals. An early priority will be work on the current review of the sponsorship code which will be published in the next few months. He will also monitor compliance with both sponsorship and advertising guidelines.

…The Independent Radio Group has announced the appointment of Norman Quirk as managing director of Scot FM . He has been a director and chairman of Central FM, the station covering Stirling and Falkirk, since 1995.

The most recent Rajar figures showed a 45% increase in listening figures for Scot FM with a weekly reach of 393,000 adults and the average listener tuning in for 8.1 hours each week.
