The ITC has awarded the local delivery licence for Taunton and Bridgewater to Convergence Ltd, a jointly-owned subsidiary of The Convergence Group Plc and Orbis Trust Ltd. The award is made subject to the applicant fulfilling certain finance requirements.
TeleWest communications was the other contender for the licence.
