The ITC has extended the deadline for comments on the consultation paper on television advertising sales arrangements from 25 February to 4 March. This is to give consultees more time to consider possible changes from any Office of Fair Trading announcements.
The ITC still intends to reach decisions at its meeting on 17 March.

The IPA has written a letter to the Office of Fair Trading proposing that undertakings be provided by Carlton and Granada to the OFT in order to protect advertisers and agencies from possible abuse.
