The ITC has written to the TV companies involved in take overs;Carlton, Central, Granada and LWT, and will be writing to Anglia and Meridian, spelling out conditions for advertising sales in the future.
The ITC has confirmed that companies can continue current sales arrangements after merging, subject to existing conditions. This would mean that if Granada succeeds in taking over LWT, it will still be able to own LWT’s sales house, Laser, and its 50% stake in The Time Exchange.
