ITN Launches Live Web Radio Broadcast

This week is the last in which News At Ten will feature in the ITV schedule. ITV axes ITN’s famous news bulletin this Friday (see Newsline), and ITN is launching Now Web Radio, which is a live radio webcast made specifically for the internet.

The web broadcast, which at the moment is a trial, will be on air on the ITN website – itn.co.uk – from 12 noon to 6pm five days a week, and will be presented by Simon Cadman and Steve Mort from ITN Radio.

ITN will also be putting pictures from its news rom live on the web, and viewers will be able to see producers and preparing the two new bulletins on ITV – ITV Evening News and ITV Nightly News.
