ITV and Barclaycard have announced that they are to join forces to sponsor the ITV Barclaycard Champions of Sports Awards – a celebration of British sporting achievement. The deal involves Barclaycard being both the event and broadcast sponsor and is part of their build-up programme to sponsor British athletes for the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
The sponsorship will feature credits before, after and around commercial breaks in the show.
