ITV Audience Share Dropping Says Y&R

According to recent research carried out by Young & Rubicam, ITV weekday viewing has dropped by as much as 14% since the new franchises took over in January.

Audiences have dropped most drastically in the South West and London, with share falling by 7% and 5% in those areas respectively. Overall audience share for the network fell by 3% over January and February, according to the report.

Channel Four, meanwhile, has recorded a 16% growth so far this year, benefiting from ITV’s losses.
