ITV has released details of its Christmas schedule. The highlights include two specials from Phillip Schofield, in his first programmes for ITV; Christmas Gold, with classic TV and film footage, and Six Little Angels, where he visits the Walton Sextuplets, ten years on.
Christmas Day sees a special edition of Gladiators; other festive specials include Blind Date, Strike It Lucky, Family Fortunes, Stars In Their Eyes Hale and Pace and Taggart.
There is a Spitting Image Panto, a tribute to Les Dawson, a South Bank Show special on Cliff Richard.
Films for the festive season include Superman on Christmas Eve, Field of Dreams and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation on Christmas Day, Dirty Dancing, Arachnophobia and Police Academy 6.
