ITV Maintains Sunday Audience With Wokenwell
Wokenwell, ITV’s new prime time Sunday evening drama, last night attracted just over 10 million viewers – roughly the same as Where The Heart Is, the programme which occupied the slot last week. According to unofficial overnight data, there were 5.5 million Women viewers and 3.7 million Men viewers.
While ITV will take comfort from the fact that few viewers were lost, it will also perhaps be disappointed that a brand new programme, marketed as a “very different type of drama”, did not bring in a bigger audience.
Advertisers in centre-breaks included Boots Opticians, Citi Bank, Disneyland Paris, Vision Express, BT and Honda.
