The ITV Network Centre is planning a review of its broadcast scheduling board to simplify the decision-making process on programming.
The Network Centre confirmed to Newsline that it aims to replace its 15-member scheduling board with a smaller programming policy group comprising David Liddiment, the new Network director, and a single representative from Granada Group , United News & Media , Carlton Communications Plc , Scottish Media , Ulster TV, Border TV and Channel TV. These changes will have to be approved by the ITC.
While it is also planned that similar changes will be implemented to the marketing group, these will remain on hold until a marketing director is appointed.
