ITV Signs £1m Custard Sponsorship For SM:TV

ITV has signed a £1 million sponsorship deal with Ambrosia Splat! Custard for its Saturday morning kids’ television programme, SM:TV Live. The sponsorship is the first television deal for Bestfoods, owner of the Ambrosia Custard range.

The Splat! Custard brand will be associated with SM:TV for one year under the deal, which was negotiated by BMP OMD’s sponsorship division, BMP Optimum View on behalf of Bestfoods and Martin Lowde, commercial controller at Granada Media, on behalf of SM:TV Live producers LWT.

The sponsorship comprises break-bumpers at the start and end of each programme, as well as credits either side of the central ad breaks. SM:TV Live is broadcast across the ITV Network every Saturday morning from 9:25 to 10:45am.
