ITN and the ITV Network Centre, on behalf of the ITV companies, have agreed a new five-year contract for the provision of national and international news. The new contract will run from 1 January 1998 to 31 December 2002, which includes a reduction price for 1997.
ITV Network Director Marcus Plantin said, “This has been a very positive negotiation. ITV has always been satisfied with quality of news provision by ITN.”
