ITV Signs Weekend Sponsorship Deal With Foster’s

Foster’s lager and the ITV Network have signed a £750,000 broadcast sponsorship deal which will run across ‘post-pub TV’ for three nights, beginning on Friday 1 May at 10.40pm.

The ‘No Worries’ weekend, the first ever sponsored showcase to run as a dedicated weekend, will be interspersed with 5 minute programmes presented by Mark Little of Neighbours and Big Breakfast fame.

Jerry Goldberg, brands director at Scottish Courage, said: “The Foster’s ‘No Worries’ Weekend will offer post-pub television at its best – a carefully tailored menu of comedy, films and music designed to appeal to Foster’s core target market of 18-34 year old men.”

The agreement between ITV and Foster’s was negotiated by Martin Lowde, commercial controller at Laser on behalf of ITV Sponsorship and Mediavest, Scottish Courage’s media planning and buying agency.
