ITV has beaten off opposition at the LA Screenings to secure Veronica’s Closet, a new half-hour comedy series from the writers and producers of Friends. The series stars Kirstie Alley as a romance and marriage counselor.
ITV has bought the terrestrial first-run rights to the series, which is produced by Bright, Kauffman, Crane Productions in association with Warner Bros. The show airs on ITV early next year.
