ITV have suggested that the first division battle for promotion to the premier league should culminate in a Sunday TV special. This would mean that all first division matches would be put back 24 hours on the final weekend -to May 8th.
The Football League is considering the switch on the basis that there is a proven demand for Sunday viewing through the matches already screened by LWT and Carlton.
