After a four-year break ITV is once again covering live the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s Budget next month.
ITN’s Dermot Murnaghan will present a “new-style” programme which it claims will offer the “fastest and easiest-to-understand” account of Gordon Brown’s speech on March 17.
ITV’s controller of News & Current Affairs, Steve Anderson said: “ITV’s coverage will be completely different to the standard fare, dominated by politicians and City analysts.”
