ITV’s First Female Film Season To Be Sponsored By Dove

ITV is to launch its first female film season this month with exclusive sponsorship from Elida-Faberge’s personal care range, Dove. The agreement is worth £500,000 and will comprise nine films.

The first film, Sleepless In Seattle, will be broadcast on Friday 7 January, to be followed over the next eight Saturday evenings by The Pelican Brief, When A Man Loves A Woman, While You Were Sleeping, Age Of Innocence, Hannah and Her Sisters, Married To The Mob, Angie and Born Yesterday. The sponsorship sequences, created by Ogilvy for the brand, encourage viewers to take time out and curl up with the movies.

Commenting on the sponsorship Andy Thompson of Carlton said: “It’s great to see another major Unilever brand supporting sponsorship on ITV. This unique showcase offers the perfect environment to increase awareness and enhance Dove’s image amongst their target audience. We look forward to a long term partnership.”
