Jan-Jun ’96 ABC Figures: Young Women’s/Teenage Sector
The younger end of the market, after the closure of DC Thompson & Co’s Catch this year, has had mixed results. EMAP’s More! is the only one of it’s younger titles to have an increase but It’s Bliss is doing well with its first ABC of 322,063. Looks has had a fall of just 2.08% while Just Seventeen has had a larger decrease of 33.56%.

Attic Futura’s Sugar has continued to do well since its launch in October 1994, it’s circulation rising from 262,477 to 361,764 giving it an increase of 99,287 copies.
IPC’s two teenage titles are still battling it out but have decreased in circulation, Nineteen having the smallest decrease of 3.18% but Mizz with a larger drop of 17.91% on last year.
