Janet Street Porter Quits Independent On Sunday Editorship

Janet Street Porter has resigned her position as editor of the Independent on Sunday. It is believed that Porter will quit the job following the General Election, ending a two year reign in the editor’s chair (see Janet Street-Porter Appointed As Editor Of Independent On Sunday).

Chris Blackhurst, formerly deputy editor of the Daily Express is expected to take over the editorship, while Porter will take on a new role of editor-at-large, contributing a weekly column and articles from home and abroad and well as writing for the daily paper.
