The latest CAA Advertising Admissions Monitor figures show that January’s average weekly admissions rose by 29.2% compared to January 1995, with a figure of 2.83 million.
January’s total monthly admission figure stands at over 12 million, far outreaching January 1995’s figure of 9 million.
The impressive January figures were undoubtedly helped by a batch of very popular and successful films. In fact one weekend in January broke all box office records when people flocked to see Seven, Goldeneye, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls and Something To Talk About.
