January – June 1997 Regional ABC’s – Weekly Paid Titles

Of the regional ABCs in so far for the first half of this year the North Herts Gazette Series, East Grinstead Courier and Wiltshire Times Series have all shown healthy percentage increases – the Wiltshire publication recording an improvement of over two thousand copies. Meanwhile the North Herts Gazette Series and East Grinstead Courier have recovered well from their slump this time last year (see individual circulation trends by selecting them in the Press Database). The Burnham & Highbridge Weekly News continues it’s rise since 1994, a trend mirrored by Ireland’s Donegal Peoples Press for the last 2 years.

Unfortunately the Derbyshire Times Series total figure is down 24% from 56,132 to 42, 695 – largely due a scaling down in overseas sales rather than it’s UK & Ireland figure. Across the Irish Sea the Tyrone Times suffers a 17% slump year-on-year.
