Jazz FM Offers Online Ad Package

Jazz FM has developed an internet radio sponsorship package to allow advertisers to sponsor Jazzfm.com’s live audio stream.
Advertisers will be able to sponsor 20 second audio trailers which will appear every time a user connects to the Jazz FM live feed. The package will include branding of the live feed button and banner ads on the site’s homepage.
Jazz FM is the most popular radio station on the internet, according to audience measurement company MeasureCast. The live feed receives an average of 10,000 unique users each day, 72% of whom are aged between 18 and 44.
Jazz FM’s internet manager, Sandra Strunz, said: “We’ve known for a long time that our live feed is extremely popular. I’m delighted that we now have confirmation that we are actually the biggest streamer on the internet.”
Jazz FM is the latest online radio station to offer cross media packages. NME Radio, the recently launched joint venture between IPC Ignite and Virgin Radio, launched an initiative last month, allowing advertisers to combine radio campaigns with online banner and print ads (see NME Radio Launches Cross Media Ad Deals).
