JCDA Launches New Sized Scrolling Format

JCDecaux Airport (JCDA) UK has introduced a new scrolling 24 sheet format to Heathrow’s Terminal 3. The format was developed by JCDA over 12 months and is designed to provide a larger format than the 6 sheet, given that 48 sheet scrollers are too large for airport interiors.

JCDecaux Airport UK’s development director, Paula Oliver, said: “These units are the first of their kind. The launch of the 24-sheet scrollers provide enormous impact to our clients and compliment perfectly the cutting edge design of the new Terminal 3 airside facility.”

The design of the scrollers, which is similar to the 48 sheet version, has been developed to ensure that the motors don’t create noise inside the airport lounge environment. Remote diagnostics using SMS allow pro-active monitoring and maintenance. Estee Lauder and Bacardi have already committed to long term advertising on the units.
