JCDecaux Restructures National Sales Team

JCDecaux has overhauled its national sales teams with a range of internal promotions designed to provide a better service to advertisers.

The shake-up will see senior account manager, Ged Glover, promoted to the position of sales manager, with responsibility for all business booked through Outdoor Connection. He will report to national sales manager, Jamie Lindsay and will be supported by account manager, Emma Blake, who is to move over to the Outdoor Connection team.

It is also all change on the Posterscope team and Rachael Westwell has been promoted to the position of deputy sales manager. She will report to sales manager, David Lambert and will be supported by senior account manager, Kate FitzGerald, who will also move over to Posterscope.

The final move will see senior account manager, Sarah O’Sullivan, take the role of deputy sales manager on the Portland Outdoor team. She will report directly to sales manager, Ian Reynolds.

Commenting on the changes, group sales director, Spencer Berwin, said: “We are working in a challenging media marketplace, and over the last few months there have been considerable changes within it. It is vital that our national sales team is structured in the best way to maximise every opportunity. I believe we have a very strong team and the new appointments will enable us to provide the best possible service to all our clients.”

Earlier this month Viacom Outdoor appointed Clive Punter to the newly created role of director of international sales in response to the increasing demand for pan-European outdoor advertising strategies (see Viacom Outdoor To Capitalise On International Sales).
