The Joint Industry Committee of Medical Advertisers for Readership Surveys or JICMARS has published its latest results.

21 titles were surveyed for total average issue readership (AIR) of GPs. The weekly Pulse achieved the highest AIR, 76%; this is a year on year increase of 3%.

Medeconomics was the best read monthly with an AIR of 66% followed by Miller Freeman’s specialist clinical title, The Practitioner which achieved an AIR of 50%.

The continuous survey of all the GPs is conducted by RSGB and is supported by all the major publishers in the medical sector including Miller Freeman, Reed, Haymarket, The BMA and Medicom and is run by a committee which includes advertisers and agency representatives.
